Week 1! Turnaround and Fabrication Ideating
I’m thinking of using tattoo needles to construct a line of figurines. I’ve gone back and forth on articulation, incorporating tattoo machine parts, and I think for this very first iteration, its best to stay as simple as possible in my materials. I think in the future, incorporating machine parts or even machine electronics for movement and sound will be great, but I need the form and the character and the lore first.
What we have here is a test of my wood burning freehand ability to add some design to the blocks of the character. I wanted to just get an understanding of the rudimentary elements of the design.
Speaking of those elements
Here you’ll notice I made the bold assumption that our soldering gear on the ITP Floor would be sufficient for working with steel. It wasn’t.
